i freakin love this game. the newly added features, like the turtle mario, super tiny mario, and super big mario. and also the ability to drag on walls and kick off of them. wow i love this game. anyone else with comments?

Love this game too! I'm on worl 8-7 and have died many times on this one. So I've gone back and am collecting all the coins from the other worlds and attempting to open up worlds 4 & 7 (I believe those are the ones). Such a fun game! And the mini games are fun with other people (such as blowing into the DS to get Yoshi to go up in the air with a balloon) :D

I suck so much at this, but I love the game. Glad I picked it up. Now that I am going on vacation, I am gonna have a lot of time to play it. woot!

yeah the minigames are really fun. i like the wanted one where you have to find the certain character, i think my highest was like lvl 86 on that.

When i heard they were coming out with a new super mario bros. game i was excited .. i picked it the first day it came out i havent put it down since ... the dr. from brain age is going to yell at me for not playing his game in a while

yeah i beat it. wasnt too hard either. i think they did really well on animations and redoing gameplay parts. and secret challenge mode rocks. you guys should go to nintendo .com for more info on that. the bosses were a bit too easy though.

maybe im just real used to these games. ive played mario 1, 2, 3 and super mario world. also mario paint, omg, that game kicked butt with its fly swat game. i just love the whole mario ideas. i mean everything about it. all the enemy ideas and stuff. thats why i like nintendo so much. ps2 and xbox just dont have that originality to it whenever i play a remade game or prequel you know. any way i beat it, so if you guys need help on gettin big coins or bosses or tips you know, i can help:)

It seems like everyone loves this game, and I've been thinking about picking it up someday. Are there any Wi-Fi options on this one?

Not that I know of.. there might be, but honestly.. who needs it? its mario brothers! Its enough of the classic to give you that warm fuzzy feeling with enough new stuff to keep it fresh. The game is awesome.. right now the only game I like better is Mario and Luigi Partners in time... I'd say it ties with Advance Wars: Dual Strike.

How the hell do you save your progress at this game? I don't really use the DS for long gaming sessions, so having the game save every now and then (I finished three levels, and it still didn't save) is pretty damn pointless.

panda, if youve played the old games youd know but i tell you right now. after you beat castles it saves. after you spend coins it saves. and after you beat the last boss, you can save when you want

JAY: I did figure it out, I took a little while, sat down and played a couple of levels, and I did get to save.

Oh, and the minigames in NSMB are awesome, especially in multiplayer.

NSMB's minigames make for some excellent drinking-games. Especially the 1-on-1 games, that will require a bit of coordination and reflexes, it gets rather hard after a while ;)

Of course I play with my friends, the DS Lite's download play is excellent.

I beat it already. Its kinda hard to get all the stars. but so much fun.. heh i remember one day me and my friend were at a arcade and we were playing mario vs luigi.. every time i would kill her she would smack me on my head! so it went like this to everyone who was passing by *two teenagers playing ds. all of a sudden the female hits the guy over the head*.. fun times
