yeah i got something different. The bata is worht preordering Crackdown. Plus crackdown could be a pretty good game. I havnt checked it out but i will when i get the chance.

I won my way into the beta, one of the biggest gaming sites in Norway had gotten hundred keys to give away, so I'm just patiently waiting for the beta start. Good luck to all of you waiting for your e-mails, would be sweet if a whole bunch from the forums got in.

And if you would like to guarantee your spot, you can always get a copy of Crackdown (make sure it's marked as having access to the Halo 3 beta!).

If you buy one of the copies that is specially marked (its a pretty large Halo 3 beta brand on the cover, really hard to miss lol) then you get auto-admission. It's not a raffle ticket type of thing.
You just have to manage to get a marked copy
And gah, I hope I get an invite. I doubt I will, but I still hope.
I'll try for the second phase too, but I probably wont buy crackdown.. unless I happen to be in a store that happens to have one, but I won't go out of my way for it.

For those of you that didn't make it in - fret not as this phase one was just the first of three ways to secure an invite to participate in the development of Halo 3. The next two paths of entry are the following:
- Qualifying over Xbox Live via the "Rule of Three" program in early February
- Purchasing marked packages of the upcoming game Crackdown™, which hits store shelves in the U.S. on Feb. 20

I heard the date continues to like the 26. Most people got theres a few minutes after they got the one saying they needed to wait 2 days for the invites. I guess i'll have to try that 3 hr. thing

Yeah, I got mines liek 10 mins after the first message. It says for people who got chosen to keep an eye on their imbox through the 26th, so im keepin an eye out. So far nothing from them

Congrats to everyone that got in! Sadly enough i didnt :frown: probably because i didnt play Halo 2 for the necessary hours. or maybe because of the rooms being filled. Although my older sibling did get in....oh well i'll just have to steal some time off of his and maybe play it sometimes! :D
