Anyone getting GRAW 2 on March 6? [Archive] - PMS

eh i dunno. I liked GRAW but i dont know if I liked it enough to go out and buy 2. I found it very confusing and alot to remeber. I just bought COD3 so i guess im good to go for now anyways.

edit: Dex its probably because your location takes up 2 lines. Try just putting "canada" or something and see what it does.

I found it very confusing and alot to remeber.

All admit there's a lot to remember compared to that other game you play where all you need to know is run around and when you see someone hold down the trigger and never stop running, and always go for they almost godly weapons first.

I am so stoked i know that i will have to be buying 2 copies and i am not complaining a bit. hubby and i will enjoy it and hopefully it will have a coop like rainbow six. but other than that i am totally pleased with everything i have heard. will be a big difference from gow but hey i will gladly make the adjustments.

I will be getting it on day one as well. Hopefully it won't have as many connection issues as past Ghost Recon games.

It should have some form of online co-op. GRAW did, but being able to go through the single player online would be nice.

I can't wait to have a division in GRAW back up again, and I'm sure we'll have enough girls for a PMS one and enough dudes for an H20 division.

I'm probably going to rent it at first since it's looking a lot like the first one. I don't want Clancy games to turn out like the Madden franchise, but that's what seems to be happening. They're great games, but they're too similar from the last game, kind of like how SC DA was. Good game, but it's just more of the same. I think they should just wait a few years before releasing the succeeding title just to polish it off more and build more hype. You can pretty much expect a new Rainbow Six, GRAW and/or Splinter Cell every year now.

That's what makes the Halo games so exciting is that they come out every couple years. Just my thoughts.

Ubisoft pumps out games quick, but most of the time they are good. I like all the splinter cell and ghost recon games. All very good especially for coming out so quick. And EA games are always crappy. They just put a new roster and put a new game out. (Madden, NBA live, NHL Live, Need for speed, etc)

Very true and I'm not saying that those games are bad, they are great games. Its just that I felt Double Agent could've been polished a little more, and they could've waited to take advantage of the third Unreal Engine since Double Agent wasn't a huge graphical leap over Chaos Theory considering the tech. The AI is starting to show it's age and why would they take out co-op play!? (Yeah maybe for marketing reasons). I don't want the GRAW series to follow this example.

I liked DA and the whole double agent aspect, but in my opinion I think they should take a little break before they run the series dry by coming out with a game every year. I think it's really because the other games in the paticular franchise are making it slightly less enjoyable to play every time a new game comes out, the new games are great but don't shine as brightly due to the game before it taking some of the spotlight (if you understand what I'm saying).

I hope the new Splinter Cell takes its time and doesn't rush anything or throw in used ideas just to make a deadline. Oh and I hope they also take out that heartbeat monitor the Mercs have, or just revert back to the way it was. That multiplayer was golden.

Here are some of the featues for multiplayer. Sounds like they may fix spawn camping in sharpshooter, but we'll see if that's just BS. I might actually play it if they fix the camping.

Hell yeah!!! GRAW is my game!!! I just played the single player demo! It is amazing, I hope the multiplayer exceeds Rainbow in graphics. I almost feel guilty looking forward to GRAW 2 almost like I will be cheating on Rainbow Six. GRAW is sooo much better though!!!! Looks like I have a tough choice ahead of me.

Yeah, I got a similar problem Roadkill. GOW ended up having a much better multiplayer than I anticipated. But I have been playing ghost recon games for over 2 years so I just can't give up GRAW. So I am going to try and balance both games to start with. If I can't do it then I'll have to make a decision and make one my primary game.

I have given some thought on this and I have come to the conclusion that I am going to go over to GRAW 2. GRAW is my game and Rainbow is cool but it just isn't GRAW. I guess I should pre-order my copy and get ready for the switch over.

It says in an article on IGN that the demo makes it feel more like GRAW 1.5 rather than 2.
But they also say that after the first levels it feels more like GRAW 2. Im joining the division definately. I <3 GRAW

I have just given the demo a little try and it is awesome!
I am completely in love with GOW, but I became a fan of GRAW since the last title and I am dying for the next one.

I will be getting it as soon as it is out here.

Looks like they didnt short the graphics out of the multiplayer this time. The maps look alot better than those in GRAW. Im glad the spawn system will be alot better this time. I will miss the camping though :(

I surely won't miss the camping, but that's a whole other story. :) Everything is looking good so far.

After Rainbow practice I have been playing GRAW. I forgot how much I love that game. It has been really great playing with the x members of the GRAW Division. It was just like old times. I plan on playing again tonight after practice.

With every GR they have made some sort of "expansion" shortly after, and GRAW is good so it wasn't a bad idea to keep it close to the original but improve it slightly. The only problem for them with this is some people might not see it as anything new since it so close to the first one.

I plan on getting this.

It's possible teamcompete might have enough teams to compete against so Sharpshooter doesn't have to be played on gamebattles. I've had good luck with the teams I've played on TC over in GoW.

On the original GR2 I played sharpshooter only. But we had a no spawn camping rule. I always got more kills without spawn killing. With no spawn camping it takes much more planning to win a clan match though. Your team has to make choke points and make it so they don't have much room to move.

And on ign.com it says GRAW 2 has clan support. And is much better than what RB6 Vegas has (which isn't much).

I am excited about the no spawn killing restriction they have made for this game. It will make it more competetive. It doesn't take skill to spawn camp. Just a good spot and you have it made. The multi-player graphics really surprised me. The game looks amazing!!!

Its not really a noobie gun in GRAW nobody ever uses it really. Ive only run into very few people that use it as a default weapon. Most people change to it so they can get me back. Frantic you should come and practice with us sometimes. I'll bring the grenades. :p

Oh did you notice if the big arcadey countdown timer is still there? In the demo when you get the mule support there's this countdown on screen. I hate it. It makes me feel like I'm playing an arcade game. I keep expecting an "Please Insert Coins" message to start flashing on my screen.

Woot ubisoft just released their new blog for graw 2! graw2 maps will be alot bigger now and its about time, cant w8 to play siege and LMS on these maps.

We focused on map variety in GRAW2, both in visual style and gameplay. Overall, I think we leaned towards the small side on GRAW, which a lot of the Siege & LMS players didn’t like. On Chapter 2, we focused on BIG maps, which the Siege players liked, but they weren’t as good for small SS games.

They just need to go bak to the mpas like on GR2 yet still have the graphics and features of GRAW2

Yes, there will be be a division here for GRAW 2 for sure. The game also will have pretty solid clan support in it.

Actualy according to an article on IGN there are unlockable headgear pieces. 4 of these have been confirmed to be 2styles from Rainbow and 2 from Splinter cell. You unlock those if you have a saved game from those games on your profile. Heres the link
