I agree! I ahve the same fondness for guns in tattoos. Although it has to be done well. I have seen so many horrible guns that people have had done on them. It pays to look for a good artist and to dig into the wallet or purse and pay the extra money for a well established and acclaimed artist!

yeah they look sweet.. but agreed.. they are easy to mess up. I want a pistol tat-ed somewheres on me... however i havent found an artist who can draw it.. and im not completly sure i know how i want it to look.. and im totally clueless as to where to get it. haha soo.. im waiting on that one.. for good reason!

I would agree but at the same time that is their choice to make. The idea in general is a great one but the name may not be the best idea. I have a name across my stomach but it is my nickname!! I know...my own name across my stomach?? It is the beginning of a tribute to my grandfather who gave me the nickname.

Geting any friend or lover tattooed onto you is bad because well...what if you break up with them? Every time you look at that spot you are going to hurt. I suggest geting your name on it...not theirs.

The one I am working on has the chinese symbols for "forbiden" and "love" hiddden in some random, I call them squigglys cus thats what they look like to me, and I am debating on puting my name in it somewhere or not. I'm still working on that.
I also want to get my tounge pierced....that one I am still debating.

It hurt pretty bad.. I felt the clamps, and was like oh god here we go.. they stuck the needle in i squeezed my friends hands really hard.. but i didnt scream or cry like i thought I would, hahah!

It bled a little, and bleeds when it gets moved.. but yea its soreee hehe.

Had this done last summer on my right foot...Gonna get a tribal flower design im working on done this summer on the other side of the foot and maybe some white added to it as im not that bigger fan on coloured tats

and much agreed. names are a bad thing. I think the only names I would ever even think about getting tattooed on me would be... MOM... DAD... my kids names.. or my own name.

my cuzin got her boyfriends name tattooed on her when she was 16.. then had to cover it with a heart and a banner when she was 18 and made the mistake of getting her new boyfriends name put in it.. she had to have it recovered cause shes with someone else now.. and now you can tell its cover up.. it doesnt look nearly as good as if she had orginally had a nameless tat.

HARPER..... maybe find something you both like or have in common.. and get that tattooed on you. Something they remind you of.. maybe a flower they gave you. something like that. then youll always have the memory of them.. but its a beautiful tat and only you have to know what it represents if your ever not with that person.

AARGGHH!! all this tattoo and piercing talk has made me wanna go get another now, Not felt the strange pleasurable pain of a tattoo gun for just over 2 years now :( Had lip pierced recently though so that will tie me over till funds become more readily available.
