Second time playing as her went slightly better. My build for her still seems a bit shaky though. What's the best build for her?

Usually I rush an early wriggles (either lane or jungle) for the damage and lifesteal, which I sell and change into hextech gunblade in the end.

Boots is usually depending on enemy team. Seeing top laning is all about beating your opponent, I might pick ninja tabi (which I could sell later for merc if enemies have high CC). Jungle you can zerker/mobility and change it into what you like later on.

Other than that, I find trinity force to be a staple item. It has all she needs. My other picks include Youmuu's Ghostblade, Guinsoo's Rageblade and a Guardian Angel, although you might want to build more defensive depending on your needs. Maw of Malmortius or even a Randuin's Omen are not bad items for Eve per sé.

So yeah, final build: Boots of choice (often Merc), Trinity Force, Youmuu's Ghostblade, Guinsoo's Rageblade, Hextech Gunblade, Guardian Angel.


I max Q by level 9, W by level 13, only taking one point in E for the bonus attack speed. I level my ultimate at 6, 11 and 16.

Hi,
I started playing eve again after a long break and it plays WAY different now. I've heard good things about Mechie's build. If you aren't used to using active power items (such as the ghostblade) it takes a little getting used to, but I've been in games where the enemy eve just DESTROYED using it.

But more than the build, I'm finding the playstyle to be way way way more passive, since champions can now see you when you get close. So beyond the build, playing her seems to be more of snipe with q to widdle them down, and then try to burst damage with the ult to slow and E actually does quite a bit of damage! that's the only argument i'd make against what Mechie says, the E does quite a lot of damage if you can get close enough and are accurate with clicky-clicky.

Also being able to join team fights and not expose your position until you want them to know you are there is something that I had to get used to.

Yeah, I recently bought Evelynn. I'll try Mechie's build out and see how it works for me. :)
