yeah so my mom has no memory. I mean a long time ago I bought microsoft points and she knew about it then but now all of a sudden she see's that my gamertga is Chemical Pink not x pink lady x so she's like "OMG you stole money from me!" and takes my xbox away. I don't know if I'm getting it back but I hope so! I'm sorry ppls. :( I'm so pissed at her right now. Oh and no I didn't steal from her she's just crazy. :mad:

How come so many on these boards are having problem with their parents vs. gaming? It still pretty much scuks though, but I'm having a bit of a hard time seeing how the change of gamertag would make your mom flip, but I still hope that you'll get your Xbox back.

I'm sorry to hear that, did you buy a pre-paid MS points card or did you use a credit card? Perhaps you can prove you didn't steal money by asking her to check her credit card history, or show her the receipt(if you still have it). That may help her remember.

I used a credit card, and even if I did tell her to check she'll say oh theres the charge! (Because I did charge on it but she said I could) yeah my brothers support me and gaming it's just my parent's hate it. I guess they don't know that you can make money off of gaming? lol, not like that'll ever happen to me. idk tonight is going all wrong, my mom is crazy, my friend is being emo (he's cutting his wrist and crying) and I am sad because all this :(

Get your friend some help. Show your mother the charge. Work on her, without shouting, to remember allowing the buying of the points. Explain how you used those points to change the Gamer Tag.
