Hey guys... got this email a couple days ago, and finally got registered. Looks to be a pretty awesome online tournament, with finals taking place at PAX Prime! Also, if you successfully register a full team for the CS:GO Tourney, your entire team will get beta keys! Just wanted to share the info!

I have registered a CS:GO team, so if anyone has interest in a SUPER casual team (meaning I havent played CS in years, and never played CS:GO, and really bad right now).. feel free to hit me up for team name and password. I just want to finally get a beta key, and would be fun to see some competitive action and how it goes. Anyways... enjoy:

FPS Competitor,

Plantronics GameCom is hosting the North American path to the Electronics Sports World Cup 2012 World Finals for Starcraft 2, DOTA 2, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. Each winner from PAX will receive a paid trip to represent the United States and Canada and compete against the world’s best gamers in the ESWC World Finals in Paris, France October 31 – November 4.

Each game will feature a free-to-play online qualifier Open Bracket, and the DOTA 2 and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Open brackets will be combined with eight invited competitors to determine the ESWC North American Championship competitors. The top two finishers from the Starcraft 2 online qualifier will join six invited players to compete at PAX Prime. The semi-finals and final matches from the online qualifier and the ESWC North American Championship will be streamed live online in HD through Twitch in partnership with leading shout-casters from each game community.

This is a great idea Arbee! CS 1.6 is currently the highest ranking FPS eSport!

Good luck guys!

They have StarCraft 2! /Cheer!

I'd try if I knew I had a shot lol, I'll let H2O Knurll to see if our Comp team can make it. The line-up must be Stacked!

As you know, StarCraft 2 is currently the most difficult eSport to be competivite in. The game is so Huge and Worldwide! I mean Huk was even knocked out of the Canadian Nationals! Competition is crazy in StarCraft!

It almost seems like getting members for an FPS is more manageable due to less compitition. :mvshock:

But, seriously, I think this would be a great opportunity for our Comp players and I will definitely bring this up with Knurll.
