This has been causing some issues where people have been unable to connect when one of us is hosting. The issue is that those people don't have the DLC, and we can't "Disable" the DLC. My suggestion would be to delete the files until IW decides to fix the bug.

Just a quick post to let you guys know there's a fix for the Error you get that's "main/iw_25.iwd differs from the server"
The issue
People who haven't bought the DLC might in some cases be unable to properly play MW3, because they get the "ERROR: main/iw_25.iwd differs from the server". This is because two files are missing if you haven't bought the dlc.
The fix
Just put the files back! It's that simple. Download the two files and move them to your MW3 folder!
Just download the two files and put them in
Steam\steamapps\common\call of duty modern warfare 3\main
REMOVED DOWNLOAD LINKS DUE TO FIX CAUSING ISSUES WITH NON DLC PLAYERS
