yep yep
Yea sarg had an announcement up maybe a month and a half ago - its an exhabition type thing at CES. I doubt there will be particularly heavy coverage or much at stake, but its good to bring gaming to CES, hopefully will open an avenue for more of us to get there in the upcoming years.

Hello everyone, Im new on the forum and I usually don't go around posting my opinion on stuff related to gaming. Im somehow involved to that industry because I work as a hostess in many events but I also play different games. I don't think I am a pro gamer, but I really have some fun testing them and following the scene a little bit.
I actually consider FragDolls a group of sweet ladies which are doing a kind of hostess work for Ubisoft. It is another marketing idea which seems to be working well for them, but I wouldn't call them pro-gamers and I don't even think the professional (female or male) gamers cares bout them that much. I don't pretend to be mean, just trying to give you my opinion about that. You cannot consider them as the first female team doing something big, because there are many teams working hard (specially in CS and Quake), doing big things on the scene, but since they are not part of a brand like Ubisoft, they don't get that much international repercusion. So I think it's not really fair for them and I understand why they can get a little bit upset reading certain stuff.
Of course congratulations for your small prize over there, Im sure it was a fun thing to do and probably you made a good promotion of the team, the brand and the game itself.
Q. (edit): why I cant publish my picture with my postings? :(

If you look at the seedings online, you'll see 8 groups of people who you've never heard of- random guys who signed up on CEVO during the short registration period. Counterstrike, for example, out of the ~100 teams that signed up, the only noteworthy ones are viGor (now "x3o") and zEx. 3D, coL, SK, NiP, MiBr, Pandemic, etc etc etc.. nowhere to be seen.
In Quake, theres a couple more noteworthy ones, but still nobody who is in toxic's league. No fatality, stermy, fox, forever, lost-cause, etc. Just naymlis, clamp.ok, and some other guys.. who would definately kick my ***, but they aren't top10.
So basically, its just a publicity deal. I dont think theres even a prize for it.

Yeah boo. They were supposed to send Ballistics and Fiscopath to CES for Graw and never did.
