Ok, I'm getting this game on Release date as part of the WoW Annual Pass. So I want to know if any of my fellow PMS|H2O Members are getting this as it comes out in May, even though we will not have PvP until later but we will have Co-Op, so let's get the hype now and people who are ready to do this.

You can accept recruits for a trial. However, since you're a member as of Monday you have to wait 30 days before you dual division. However, just in time since Diablo won't be able to start it's trial until May 15th (right)?

If there are times you cannot be there, post here or forever hold your peace. This meeting is important as it will let us get leadership ideas done and paperwork ready and trial forums set up. OK...so need an idea of what works for everyone interested to meet about getting the division going. Right now I'd like to shoot for this Friday 5/11 at 8PM EST in vent. This is tentative, so if it doesn't work....other option would be Thursday 5/10 8PM EST in vent.

(Currently in the BF3 Div, so not sure how practices are counted for something like D3)

-H2O tag requirements? (My 'Battletag' has been set up as just 'Radar' when I pre-ordered, it's my understanding that this is not changeable but doesn't need to be unique.)

-Small teams? I understand there is an arena type competitive system in D3 similar to WoW Arena's. (Maybe something to look at down the road after the trial)



EDIT: I also have a 50 person Mumble Server that can be updated to support the PMS/H2O D3 Division. Currently surving as a Guild Server for Starwars Online, but it is barely utilized.

may not be able to make either time as i will always be putting SC2 tournaments and stuff first.

as for US east vs US west... there is only one server, North America and you have free access to change between the others such as EU or SEA. so you can cross the server discussion off the list early =P

Rules for managing hours maybe a bit um? LOL... just because when im playing im going to be going as far as possible and dont want to go back for people. So unless you play for hours on end like I do. odds are you wont even be close to me in progress. Just throwing that out there a bit, as a potential issue.

also a concern i have. Is how are we going to feel like a community in this game? until the arena or what not it just seems like its going to be really awkward. While i will be playing, no idea how that's going to be organized.

I'm out of the loop. As much as I'd love to do this, trying to balance Warcraft, CoD, a full-time job, BF3 recruitment and hopefully GRFS recruitment, it's probably best I get my bearings with Diablo on my own before going into a division and dissecting my time more. :P

Which is epic fail once again as when they said that for SC2, its been almost 2 years and we still dont have it. Your display name will be visible by your battle tag name. Your battle tag is permanent and across all blizzard games as that gets updated incorporated into the future. Character names will NOT be displayed in game except at certain points, and are stated by blizzard, meant to function as a way to sort through your characters to tell the difference easier, in auction houses, and they want people to build 1 solid identity, by the use of battle tag... which is a bit fail. so its pointless to put your clan tag in your character name, as no one but you will see it. And your battle tag, cannot be changed at all. Meaning if you tag up with it when you create it, You can never remove the clan tag. Even 3 years from now. Also certain things are blocked for creating battle tags last i checked, Including PMS... So basically new recruits wont be able to change at all, or if you created your own already.

as for hours, no idea how these will work, as im mostly going to be going for Inferno runs and sprinting ahead at release. So unless you can keep up, or catch up when im busy with SC2, going to be hard to stay with me. Until everyone starts hitting late game and groups up. The clan just feels to me like we will be scattered everywhere in progress... Personally when every one catches up, I wouldn't mind item runs etc at a scheduled time, similar to how i think raids work in WoW(never played WoW but has played alot of d1 d2) and with nephalem valor not sure how pathing of efficiency and stuff will work as there is alot of random factors with that.

Also PvP is rumored to be 2013.... yeah... standard blizzard when its done, but we will release most of it but not all of it =/

TLDR: everyone is going to be all over the place and d3 is lacking alot of structure, Think we should wait until we start getting groups together and the game comes out to actually start trying to figure out how these things work.

i was just prowling around reading and i saw this in your post, you can actually change your battle ID, once. After that, then yes you can't change it ever again.

(from battletag FAQ. Also from the way they word it "one FREE battletag chagne" it sounds like people may be able to buy a change in the future, which knowing blizzards awesome ways to make money is not a stretch to asssume)

I was playing all night, played all the way up to around 10:30~ PST and had no issues. lvl 29, almost done with act 3, and climbing. Haven't slept and feel just fine :D. (took a ~45 min walk outside with my friend around 11, fresh air=awesome)

my question is what is going to keep people playing... several players have already completed inferno, found several legendary items and stuff up there. And yet the real money auction house has yet to even come close to going live, decent items dont seem that rare. majority of players are quitting after completing the story once... (atleast thats how it seemed with everyone complaining about how short it was)

I just dont see this game having any late game sustain , in both gameplay and the RMAH... Hopefully PvP will fix it, but with blizzards stance that PvP shouldn't and won't be competitive i dunno =/ (especially since it keeps getting delayed and who knows when PvP will come out)

hopefully this game has alot more life beyond inferno. Blizzard practically claimed it would be impossible and take several months before someone would clear it, but its only been 4 days and more and more are clearing...
