Hey everyone! I wanted to let you all know my good news and update you with what's been going on while I've been away.
Some of you may know that I had an interview on Wednesday for a job as a casino dealer onboard a cruise ship that travels worldwide. Well the interview went great and I was confident I aced the casino table test. I'm very happy to say I got an email saying I've got the job!!
Now I have to go to the US Embassy in London to get a visa so I can work abroad and sort out a couple other neccessary things. The company NCL (Norwegian Cruise Lines) is an American company based in Miami, FL but they have many destinations worldwide. I'm hoping I'll get to travel to some parts of the US (if I need a US visa I would presume so) as well as other countries. I can't wait to start this and make the most of what will be a great experience to see the world and I'll get paid alot for it too....tax free! Any time the boat is docked in some country I'll be able to walk around wherever I am because the casino onboard cannot operate until it's in International waters to abide by each country's laws. Amazing! All this will take about 2 months to sort out but it'll be worth it.
Not only that but I applied for a job as a football coach based in New Jersey and Philadelphia and they came back to me and said they really wanted me to attend an interview for them! I don't really need to stress how much I love football so this opportunity would be awesome. It wouldn't be until March 2007 and for 8 months but everything would be paid for as far as accomodation and company car etc. Basically I'd be teaching American kids how to play football (lets face it they need help :p ) and shout at em if they call it soccer lol.
Apart from that I've been watching every game of the World Cup so far and I'm feeling hungover today after lots to drink during the England vs Sweden game (Joe Cole's goal is definitely a contender for goal of the tourney).
I hope your all well and I'll talk to you soon.
