My first 1v4 in GOW

I had my first 1v4 in GOW this weekend........ WOOT! That's when all of your teammates are dead, and all four on the other team are alive and you manage to take them all out. We were on Mausoleum. I know I'm the only one left so I get on the move hoping they have split up tp look for me, but I take out my shotty in case I do run into a group. Sure enough I run into a group of three on the sniperside platform by the boomshot tunnel. I start diving and rolling letting off shotgun blasts as I come up and manage to get all three of them. Then I go to torquebow side and grab the torquebow so that the last one knows my general location, and I find a nice hiding spot. He goes for the boomshot, and fires off both rounds from inside the boomshot tunnel, making it pretty clear he's not coming out. That's where I would normally screw things up by trying to go in after him with the shotty, but I instead I kept the torque and took cover at the entrance to the tunnel. I pop my head out a couple of times and all he has is the lancer so I had plenty of time to line up a perfect headshot with the torque (one of my weakest weapons.) When the next round started my whole team was giving me mad props. I was a GOW superstar for a brief moment in time...... but of curse that was enough to further feed my addiction :cool:

The torque isn't one of the weakest weapons. I hardly play Gears, but I know that.

But props on getting them all killed.

It most definitely is a powerful weapon. It just happens to be one of *MY* weakest weapons; as in my skills with it are not all that.

I don't know about all that, but I do have my rare moments ;) Thanks for the compliments, and introducing me to the PMS clan. I've played with several of the ladies now and they are all lots of fun! :female:

I played a 1v4 once, but with one differance from yours, my team didn't die, THEY LEFT! 0.0 But yea, they were a clan of 4, and they owned me for 2 rounds, but by then, I had their taktic scoped out, I whipped out the shotty and waited.....and waited.....and waited even more. Until they finally ran up on me one at a time and got my trademark SPLATTER SHOT!!!!!! =] I was yelling it at them when I wiped the floor with them. They all left in disgrace and I left with my head held high. =] Good times.....

Awesome! I hate when your teammates leave. I have to admit that one of the best things about pulling something like that off is knowing that your teammates were watching the whole thing.
