That awkward moment when: You are thinking you're "all that" playing MW3 online- and 2 professional well seasoned -many times deployed soldiers walk into the room and then watch your character throw a grenade, miss the gap you were aiming for and laugh as you blow yourself up .....

That was me- today playing & Hubby n his "just got back" mate walk in.
So embarrassed...

I did that once lol, I saw a guy in the window and I shot a noobtube at him and blew part of the wall away then ran off...towards the building...and under the falling rubble...yeah

OMG I've had so many mic fails, it's not even funny. Worst was when I was on the phone with my (at the time) significant other, thought I had the mic muted, but it wasn't. To say the least, my party heard a lot of stuff they didn't need to. They might have even learned a thing or two. Luckily it wasn't during practice!

HAHAHA YES...I had C4 on the building as well and I blew it up for no reason and the building was still standing 10 secs after the explosion so I climb in one of the sides the wall was down so I could blow the rest of it up and the second I start climbing in the building collapses on both me and Pika...EPIC FAIL :mvshakefist:

Oh gosh. Unmuted mics are the worst. But puppys are cute, I don't think anyone would disagree :)

I will mute my mic when I get bored and I'll start commentating or going old school (2006ish) Scott "Gandhi" in game (kind of arrogant to the point where if anyone heard me they would think it was hilarious or somewhat rude). I did both in a practice the other day - major facepalm and I turned bright red in embarrassment.

My other awky moment is hitting a building with my Javelin or on the "golf course" map in Black Ops.....trying to shoot down a chopper or spyplane and you fall off the cliff into the sea. :(

Or most recently, forgetting you are cheap & bought wired turtle beach headset & mike then forget that you have them on and think...."i'll just quickly run to the kitchen & grab a drink before the next game starts......

Lucky the couch was close to my PS3 is all I can say.

I have also seen a spider while playing a video game and started screaming while on mic to everyone eek! im not a screamer really but it scared the hell out of me.

Ah the Gecko. I lived in Darwin for a few years-(I was brought up in the Northern Territory, Central Australia). But any way, Darwin, Tropics...Hot humid, sweaty....disgusting. I went to bed in some pajymas...but it got too hot so stripped down to underwear and a tank top.
Light off , I laid down & I realised I didn't put the ceiling fan on. The fan was directly above the bed and when the fan started to move, i jumped back on top of the sheets, to go to sleep. Next thing...there was a wet sounding "Slap!" and something cool and sticky lands on my thigh.
Hmmm, lean over and Click on lamp. *Blink* Blink*...there is a Huge Gecko....just planted on my thigh....Huge...Like 12cm long! Then "it" panicked and ran...UP.....I panicked because it ran...UP....OMFG...The MAYHEM!!!!
I didn't want to kill it because they are quite cute! But I didn't want it's sticky little feet all over me either.
Hubby woke up to me jumping around the bedroom squealing like a girl,jumping around & shaking my hands like I had to speed dry my nails!
Probably not as hilarious to read, but I am sure it was hilarious to see.

In Black Ops, I was playing search one time and I killed the last guy alive on their team and tried defusing, but since I wasn't standing on the bomb it wouldn't defuse, then it blew up and killed me lol

I didn't know you actually had to be near the bomb
