Past, a time to remember and not forget,
Present, a time to take in and accept,
Future, a time to plan and brace yourself for what’s to come.
I think of the past, it was bad before you,
It was painful and made me chose wrong things to do.
Then the past was good, it was happy and made me smile,
I thought it would last forever, not for a short while.
I live the present, regretting, mourning about it all,
Thinking what to say, to revive my soul.
I cry, I hurt, I want to make it up together again,
You hate me more when I try and it causes pain.
I think to the future, of what’s to be of us,
Friends I pray, my friends think more and make a fuss.
I wonder what you want, for me and you,
As long as you’re happy, that’ll do.
