MLG and Gamestop Team up 4 Gears Online

Open registration has started for MLG GOW Online tournament . Is anyone going to get in this ? Looking to head up a team possibly and was just wondering if we could possibly put something together . Also is there any PMS ladys getting in it ? I guess post here for awhile .

On the 2nd of january a new one starts ...20 spots are already filled due to overloading first

As of right now it's pending ...but mlg and gamestop have officially upped the tourney to 160 teams ...start date pushed back ...100 spots already filled .....will post when it's officially open to all....

heck i didnt even get a chance to post that it was open....but somehow we managed to get 4 teams in it altogether 3 girls and 1 guys........good luck to all that made it in

Thanks for you help... I did send an email and got this back....

If you look at the play dates of the tournament on the tournaments page
(http://tournaments.mlgpro.com/Tournament/TournamentList.asp), you will see that
it actually starts Thurs, January 11.

Last week, we pushed the tournament start date to Thursday, January 11 in
anticipation of the patch update, which will be released tomorrow.
The patch is said to fix a lot of bugs and glitches, many of which can be used
to cheat. If all goes well, it should make the playing experience better for
everyone.

We will send an E-mail out to all players in the tournament Thursday morning at
the latest, but hopefully Wednesday night.
Once groups have been determined, the Schedules page
(http://tournaments.mlgpro.com/tournament/TournamentGroupSchedule.asp?Tournament
Id=8) will show match dates/times.

By the way there is going to be top 2 of 32 groups .....A sort of march madness playoff with 64 teams

Last night seen 3 of our teams in action in the tourney. Unfortunately it didnt go as planned as one team was M.I.A and the other 2 didnt get off to the start anticipated. Personally I'm just getting started and feel that that was just my initiation to competitve gaming along with some fellow teammates . Learning experience ....to say the least..Good luck ladys, and hopefully game 2 is a landslide in our favor . For those that dont know losing a game in group play doesnt disqualify, just means we have to work harder. At least we got in and I'm grateful for that as a lot of teams didnt make registraion.
