Hello everyone. Though I'm not one to clog ears, this will be a long post.
My name is Jonathan "Shinikami" Young. Some of you might remember me from Counter-Strike during the pre-Halo 2 days, most of you won't. I am the founder and General of Team Shinikami, my Clan and family. We were formed in July, 2004 as a simple group of Halo 2 beta-testers looking for people to depend on. Come that August, the Beta of course ended, which brought us to Xbox Live. Roughly a week into my term on Counter Strike, I ran into some members of KSI, which in turn, introduced me to Athena Twin PMS, EE RIPLEY PMS, PMS Burningstar, and many others.
I assume it is only fair for me to update all of PMS as to my absence, and what has become of my Team over the past 2 years. Needless to say, we drove our sword deep into the Halo 2 underground... And as we grew strength, our numbers flourished. At the peak we reached 126 members. However, due to some ignorance on my part, I failed to account early on for the necessity of Officers. This turned into the biggest slowing action the Clan could ever suffer.
Come April, 2005. I had decided it was time for a vacation. Any and all of you who've ever been in charge of even 20 people know the stress that bore me down. Even my past military training couldn't prepare me for the drama I would encounter.
When I returned, my most loyal returned faithfully to me. And we made a vow, to stick to ourselves, and improve our skills for when we decided to return. Now is that time. Our numbers remained small, as our recruiting is some of the strictest Xbox Live will ever see, but my Team has quality that only the best leaders could ask for... And I am more than grateful for the opportunity I have to lead them, day after day.
Why am I here?
I wish to promote my Team by associating them with those I believe are of the highest quality. And in turn, I offer my Team as a device for PMS and H20's own training. I guarantee that you will have only the toughest battles with my crew, and together, we will continue to hone our talents, and not only strive to be the best Xbox Live has to offer... But simply take our place by quick, well placed strikes that will show nothing but the highest professional standards and skill.
I remain proud of PMS's progress, having noticed more and more publicity associated with the Clan itself. In fact, I smirked quite happily when I watched E3 2006.
If you would honor me it, I would greatly appreciate a scheduled meeting between myself, Colonel WxHxNx ((My second in command)), Master Gunnery Sergeant SIRUS MERIDIUS ((My most elite warrior)), and any PMS and H20 staff that would be involved in such a sit-down to discuss our Clans' standings, and to hopefully form an Alliance between our Communities.
