Just wanting to see who else got accepted for this weekend's beta test for Star Wars The Old Republic.
I got the invitation a few days ago, already downloaded and installed the 18GB game client and patches. So I'm all set for 10:00 CST today when the servers open! :D
Any other takers? I wouldn't mind partying up with other PMS|H2O testers here. ^_^

I actually got invited twice but didn't accept i saw a lot of game play and how the game ran at PAX earlier this year. Just that alone made me wanna get the game lol.

So... you aren't accepted for this weekends' test then?
myself, skywalker, hated and a few other friends have made characters on Juyo(pvp) on the Sith side if you were looking for people to play with.. although we've been in a couple betas now and are ~20-24, if you'll be starting fresh you'll be a bit behind us

WoW can't hold a candle to SWTOR... no offense to WoW fans..
But WoW is an older game.. so it isn't fair to be comparing it anyways.

Damn dude wish I would of known I would of been up for this, I was given another invite for this weekend just didn't have the time to download the patches for the game client. And its not really fair to compare it too wow when wow kind of made this game possible just like everquest did the same for wow. In the end most these games follow the same formula just different ingredients, but I will say it was a refreshing experience and the fact that its star wars is enough for me.
