Joining the SWTOR Sith Guild, Questions

In the SWTOR forum post it directs to the handbook, but the handbook tells you what is expected of you and points to the join H2O/PMS page. There is no Forum tab for SWTOR at least i don`t think there is. I am confused :mvshock:

Since the game is not out yet, there is no division/no tab. There are threads stickied here (http://www.pmsclan.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=672) for people who intend to be in the division. (Either Sith Empire or Galactic Republic)

To follow up on his question, can you apply to the SWTOR guilds if you aren't a PMS/H20 member? I originally came here for CoD, but SWTOR and MMO's in general are my "bread and butter."

you can do your recruitment in a trial division yes

As long as 4 people in that guild pre-ordered the game and used their pre-order codes.

Well the guild currently has 33 members and I think at least 4 people put in their preorder codes. I preordered it from Gamestop but didnt get a code...should I have gotten one?

yes. they will follow the same trials process for 30 days before they are promoted to an official division.

I had the same problem, I pre-ordered mine from GameStop sometime in early September, but they told me that they ran out of pre-order codes. So I cancelled it and just pre-ordered it directly from EA (using Origin) and it gave me one right away.

I checked, both guilds have at least 4 members who pre-ordered and are ready for deployment.

I believe that your early access is dependent on when you redeem your pre-order code- the earlier someone pre-orders the higher priority they're going to have for early access- I know you mentioned something about early access before, if you can swing it I'd try to preorder before friday

Ok I am about to sound like a noob.... but how are "hours" made xD (havent touched a PC game in like 10-15 years xD )

This is a great question - we actually have MMO rules for divisions.

We will try to get an information meeting together for people that are playing SWTOR, but here are a couple of the basic rules:

1) If you are playing SWTOR, we want you playing with PMS clan on whatever server we are on. (That will be answered in the coming days when it opens.)
2) Opposing factions CANNOT be on the same server. e.g. PMS Sith and PMS Republic will not be on the same server for what should be obvious reasons.
3) You cannot have a toon in a guild on a server that PMS has a presence on. Just like competitive clanning, we expect if you are in the clan, you are playing with the clan.
4) Hours are made by completing a couple of different things: appropriate progress in leveling, and raiding hours - depending on what each faction is doing on different servers.
5) To support guild management, we typically introduce some additional officer titles as well as ways to handle looting and such. These will be defined by your division leaders.

Those are the basics. If you have any questions though, let us know. I am sure more will become clear when you home up in the division.
