So yeah had the chance to get in for about 2 days of the beta this weekend and have to say I'm pretty excited. Although there was a couple little things I didn't like but as a whole it was pretty refreshing coming from playing WOW for the last 5 years. Will be looking forward to finished product come December.

I received an email saying I would be invited to this weekends beta event, but no code or download link etc. Hope I get one, I have the entire weekend to play.

When I received the e-mail there was a link to confirm and a link from there to get the download client. I just warn you the q times might a little crazy so watch for updates on new servers opening and what not, I actually had to wait like a hour and half almost the first day but I found playing later at night was a much easier to get in. Yeah its kind of crazy you didn't get the link, takes almost a day to download and update the whole deal so you might want to check in too that on the website.

KOTOR = "Knights of the Old Republic," which is a single-player RPG that was originally on the original Xbox, later ported to PC.

The new MMO coming out is simply "The Old Republic" - ie "Star Wars: The Old Republic", and is a sequel to KOTOR, taking place about 300 years later.
