Me and my friend are going to try to stream and upload our SC2 Diamond 2v2's, anyone know of something that would work well for this? We're looking for minimal lag, which seems to be a problem for some reason... His computer is amazing and runs in game at crazy fps even while recording, yet when we watch the videos they are not smooth at all and jump almost a full second at times, this happened with multiple programs.

The hard drive would be causing the the recording video to lag if his fps is fine in game. To get better fps in the video he may need to buy faster hard drive.

This depends in what format, and what resolution it is being captured at. If you are capturing at full HD resolution, and in raw video format you are going to need at least 2 10,000 rpm drives striped to get the performance needed. Possibly even 3. Your best bet may just be to stream on twitch, and then download the recordings it automatically saves for you.
