Does anyone have the beta? I personally don't, I have been waiting forever. Does anyone still play Dota 1? I'm curious to see how many Dota fans we have(:

I'm guessing just about all the LoL division members do, or have, played Dota 1..I know I do/have.

I used to play LoL.. But then I got Dota and uninstalled LoL. I like the competition of Dota. Harder gameplay. But I would love to play some Dota 1 with you guys sometime :D

I'm waiting to try out Dota 2 when it releases to see if I'll like the way it feels or not.

Dota 1 definitely has harder gameplay. But that harder gameplay comes from trying to play on a 9 year old engine that wasn't designed for that type of game in mind. Not to mention the crabhand that you had to endure in order to play the map effectively. The item hotkeys were kind of screwed up too.

HoN/LoL streamlined the gameplay of dota and I'm interested to see what additions for ease of use that Dota 2 will be released with and continue to develop as patches are released. Can't wait!

I played Dota 2, and Dota 1.

I wasn't expecting the heroes to be the same.

Overall I'm very disappointed by Dota 2. Same stuff plus one number.

Thats all Dota 2 was meant to be. Its supposed to be DOTA..except with an easier way to play with people. its much easier to hop on steam with your friends and get into a game than it is trying to get a game of dota going. Dota 2 is just more convenient with a couple of extra perks they added.

i play dota2. played dota1 pretty hardcore. 2 years in the Fire and Ice tournament, lots of LAN's in the chicago/St.Louis area. even scrimmed against PMS a few times. hit me up on steam if you want to premade. I usually play gank/hard carry heroes like Bounty Hunter and Spirit Breaker. Im waiting for Troll Warlord to be put back into the game. I wreck with him.
