if i had AoE3 i'd so play, i used to play a ton of AoE1 and 2...
Oh there's a kid that signed up for that tourney and he totally owns. I will sign up just to give it a shot.

Great, I wound up with a total noob that can't count. He decided the match time was 9pm in european time (sounds like he's from poland) and didn't tell me about it. Because of that error, he decided that the match would be now instead of 6 hours from now - he declared himself a winner because I couldn't make the time (I'm at work now). I'm disputing that, haven't had a response yet.
whaaa? so what does that mean? can't he just wait until you are off work or are the times pre decided?

Iris - the times are pre-decided at 9pm EST. If he contacts me before the match to reschedule then we can play another time the same day (the next round starts tomorrow). If he does not reschedule then I will automatically move on to round 4.
EDIT: he did not reschedule the match, so I am moving on to round 4.

Where did you read that Ninja? This guy I'm having the dispute with is Polish, and if they don't even let you sign up then he shouldn't be able to register either. I wonder how he got in...

I'm out of the tourney now :(
There was a huge windstorm this afternoon (still is) and it knocked the power out in my area for several hours (the lights are still flickering). I didn't get power back til several hours after the match time, and I had no way to contact my opponent to reschedule the match. He got a forfeit win since there was no way for me to make the match :(
