Ok, we are in the process of finally having our site professionaly redisgned with a full CMS and community build site. so stuff that we want keeps adding up and we are looking for donations for our new site which will be a gaming community site with blogging, acrade, news, reviews etc. I am covering the full cost of 5k right now until hopefully we can get funds into this clan via a sponsor etc., but as it looks like I am going to have to put in even more for some of the stuff I now want to add that is not included in the estimate- we really need some funds. So I am hoping clan members or community members may have some money they want to donate to go towards the overhaul and professional development of our site.

We are also going to try to move to a dedicated server if we can afford it

There's also several other functions we need. Having more control over the box environment, mysql databases, and of course being able to tack on our ventrilo server among other things provide some major advantages to a dedicated. Plus, with the rate of growth over the last several years, and the sheer scale of this undertaking, a dedicated will help to give us plenty of growing room.

Hm, I would suggest sending a PM to Athena (the thread creator), she's the one who is handling the site work right now, and of course since her and AthenaTwin lead the clan, it will end up passing through them in the long run I'm sure.

Next week playlinc/sci is moving our website to a different box, when I'm done with that, the current webserver/mysql box is all for PMS. Ill clean it up, spiffy her up all shiny like, and it will be good to go.

We do have access, however there is a filter on the base network that I'm willing to bet blocks out PayPal. I'll have the email address just in case, but I'll need some kind of backup as well.

Vbulletin doesn't like the HTML coding for the paypal button, it actually requires a mod to implement (yuck!)

Total Raised was $541.03

Total website rebuild cost is 6k (these people keep dicking me around but it is almost done, yay!), but we alot some of the sponsorship funds to reimburse me for the rest. It's just nice to not have to use sponsor funds because every doller saved their will help more teams compete!

I would like to thank everyone that donated personally, but I was shortsighted in that I cant figure out most peoples gamers tags and dont want to use their real names. I saw a couple people noted their gamertags, but this was only 2 of the about 15 dontations, so you people know who you are and thank you! =P

Though that would proabablly come with strings but who knows at least you might get in the friends of live if you're not in there already.

You could even check with esa if there were a path to take with regards to company(s)
helping you out.

You definatlly have an angle being girl gamers and everyone wants to see the industry
add new gamers so i recommend running with it.

It certainlly would be faster than personal donations which should also be write off able
come tax time. You might have to check with the irs about charity donations etc.

Useing all ave avaible can only help the site-imho.
