The Wheel of Time

Old series, but recently I just finished the 3rd book, in 2 months (work prolonged it). I am trying to figure out why I never picked it up. It has so much depth along with action, adventure, drama, etc that I cant put it down. The detail of everything he talks about is also what gets me. Anyone else read it? I know there are 12 books coming out, which is awesome (his son is completing the 12 one due to him dieing).

Reading it too. I'm currently at the fifth book. Love it so far.
I often find myself losing track of time, while reading the books, only to realize that 4 hours have passed by. :mvshock:

the series is amazing! the 6-7th books get a little slow with not much going on, but it picks back up! Also, Matt becomes the absolute BEST character in the 10th - 11th book. The guy that picked up the series after Jordan's death did an amazing job on the 12th, and i'm excited for the next book to come out.

It's one of the next on my list! I just finished A Dance With Dragons, am trying to finish Inheritance (for the sake of my childhood, haha) and have started Malazan Book of the Fallen. Obviously, I'm addicted to fantasy :D

Im usually not a big reader but this series got me hooked lol. Last summer i read books 1 - 10 (i know thats alot lol). I put myself on hiatus with reading this series until it gets closer to the last one coming out (A Memory of Light).
