Rain is dripping down
On a smiling face
The Child looking up
Eyes so amazed
Running in the puddles
Splashing all around
Everything was soaked
Then the boy fell down
Looking into the sky
As he held his knee
Tears mixed with rain
Running down his cheeks
Searching in the distance
Seeing a rainbow appear
The child’s smile returns
And is from ear to ear
Getting up he ran
As fast as he could
To the end of the rainbow
He assured himself he would
Arriving to it finally
So ecstatic and alive
Walking to the colors
That reflected off his eyes
He climbed up the rainbow &
When he reached the top
He saw for miles beauty and color
And his happiness never stopped
