So I currently am using the Roxio Capture Card for recording gameplay from my XBOX and I am having some issues with it. My computer meets all of the minimum requirements to run the software and I make sure I have my battery settings to high performance when running the cap card. My issue is, when I press the 'Capture' button, it turns red as if it is capturing video but only does so, for about 2 seconds, then it says "Unknown error. Save file?" I am unsure as to why it does this. When I corresponded with the Roxio support team they told me to uninstall the software and reinstall it with my firewall and antivirus disabled, which I did successfully, though it has not fixed the problem. Does anyone have some insight as to what might be giving me this error message? I did own a Dazzle cap card previously and had issues with that one as well (dropping frames). Is it my PC or what? Thanks for any advice !
