Whats in a name?

Usernames/gamertags are an extension of our personalities, a pseudo facade that we adopt when online in console or pc.

So I was curious as to what everyones names on here mean?

I will go first and enlighten thee with the story of mine.......

I'm an American but of British descent, so I always tried to be the "gentleman". I also read a book a few years back called Artemis Fowl and his body guard was named "Butler". I kinda fell in love with this character, he was so cool and I wanted to emulate him. I was always into and still am into ninjas/assassins/bodyguards/hitman etc so this character was right up my alley. Then while reading a manga called Rebirth, one of the characters was named Rett Butler not to be confused with a character from a certain movie/book (Name it and tell me the difference in names and I'll give you a prize ^_^) In this manga he could live forever, and when I'm in a cocky mood I tend to boast I can live forever.

That was about the time I got XBL so I decided to make my gamertag Butler but it was taken so I took the 47 from Hitman 47 since he was a hitman, (never played the games) so Butler47 stuck. Sometimes I go by RogueButler as well on aim etc

Plus it sounds cool when in a game their like "Whos killing all of our guys? Its the Butler! The Butler did it!" (In the dining room with the candle stick ^_^ )

ok mine is Slayergirlkills soon to be PMS Slayergirl but the reason for Slayer is because i have always loved like Buffy the vampire slayer and any movie with a female vampire slayer.Girl of course cause im a girl. not the best thing in the world but what can i say...lol

Thats pretty funny "the butler killed him!" And to name the difference i believe it was Ratt butler from some movie i can't remember. I used to have an uncle who got me into old movies before he passed away... but anyway yeah that was the difference i believe.

Anyway how i got my name of snatchd u. well snatched u was a little long so i shortened it one letter =P. well i chose snatchd because its something thats kind of a rarity like "I snatched your weap/ your life" Thought it would be funny. "You were killed by snatchd u" name sort of stuck from then on. Anyway for my WoW name or ex WoW name it was randomrogue. partly cuz it was random and my char was a rogue. so it sort of.. Fit to say the least. anyway thats how i got my names.

[Kaiser Mitsu]

Well mine has evoled over the years that I have started XBL. Its first incarnation was Mustangboy1102 the reason because I used to drive a what.....you guessed it a mustang. Well I ended up totaling the mustang so the name no longer fit. So its next Incarnation was Mitsuboy1102 because i got a Mitsubishi Eclipse. and the 1102 is for my bifday. Well I really wanted to so the dedication to my first clan that I was really into so my name once evolved again into LS Mitsuboy the LS standing for Likwid Steel. But that clan soon degraded so i decided to leave. Well now I can have a clan tag when im not in the clan so i once again changed it to the current Kaiser Mitsu. The reason that I chose Kaiser is because Im of german descent so I liked the Idea of having something german in my name, Kaiser which in the fedual era was someone that was higher than a king a Lord so to speak and i still drove the Mitsu so Kaiser Mitsu just kinda stuck.
