Hi I'm pettybo, a 30-something designer in los angeles at work at the moment. Trying to look like I'm doing some work (don't worry...I'm a workaholic..it's downtime). Anyway, I'm a casual gamer (ps2,wii,gameboy,internet) but suspect that I'll become obsessed again because of the wii console.( I say obsessed again because once at 13 I'd played Mario Bros on the NES for 38 hrs straight without eating and only got up for pee breaks). As for the Wii...yep, I know the graphics sucks "a little" but since I'm a low-core gamer I think I'll survive especially when I'm starting off with the Zelda game that is so friggin' goodddd! :D
Some other things in my life that I like or interested in:
My niece Xi (first time auntie), sister (I adore her), work, taking pictures (http://www.flickr.com/photos/pettybo), a secret goal to join a local women hockey team(LA chill/Lady kings one day even though I don't know how to skate(baby steps and this will happen!!!) Go Red Wings!! (Go Kings too...my beloved step kids), the occasional male strip club (there were no pole dancing icons so this will do ----> :aikido: ) :soldier: :love2: , MUSIC!!! (http://www.last.fm/user/pettybo/) (I love love music anything), meeting cool people, learning/doing new things, french fries, lemon heads, being single (I swear...it's the fountain of youth sometimes), musicals, horror/sci fi/classic movies(all time favorite "Rear Window"/"The Third Man"/"Twelve Angry Men"/"I remember mama"), books (fave: "Atlas Shrugged","Anne of Green Gables", "Einstien's Dreams", underground comics, audiobooks, doing whatever I want (within reason), being happy and laughing :D :) :)
