I love my 360!

I got it on Emergence Day. Oh it was a happy day. It sits proudly next to my tv and wireless gaming router.

As I was staring at it and pondering its beauty and how much fun I get out of it, I was thinking (which is dangerous for me lol) "Hey this white console is boring and passe' (or however its spelt) Why not PIMP IT.

Thats right I'm pimping my 360's collar, hes gonna have so many wireless controllers trying to hook up with him its not even funny.

So I went digging on the web and found the new diggs of my dreams.

Once I get that case on my 360 in maybe like two weeks I'm going to resuse the old case and see what I can create.

I always like to wrok with my hands so who knows I may make something cool or like usual an utter piece of crap lol

Surprisingly...

That case, controller shell, and fan only costs all together like $130 online.

Which in my book is a pretty good deal.

There is a "chameleon case" where the x lights up in many and I mean many different colors for like 10 bucks more.

Although doing these mods means you void your warranty but I never got one so yay for breaking it lol

On a side note a lot of people are using empty computer tower cases to enlose their 360's because they are essentially a computer and it provides way way way more ventilation. And that inturn means better internal workings etc. I'm gonna settle for the lighted fan though.

But in my case I'm gonna stick with the X case

No pun intended on that last line, I reread it and was like wow way to be corny but hey i'm gonna leave it that way lol

He cut the chromeshaft welded the intake manifold super injector to the valve distributor and then exchanged the rotary cup with a slimmed down constriction separator.

It looks very nice just remember with a chrome controller, it'll show marks and fingerprints on it very easily. So you'll have to wipe it down after every use, or wear gloves if you want it to stay shiny for long.

He slimmed down the constriction seperator? Thats unqiue I usually swap that out and change the distribution on the flux compasitors and torque up the catabolic pathways instead.

Ive been customizing my Xboxes for years! Im at work, Ill get some pictures up when I get home though. I have a Chameleon paint 360 that changes from red to blue, a glow in the dark 360, and a black one with a cut out, with the green led fan and a punisher Xbox jewel. I also have a blue chrome original Xbox (my baby) thats super sick. Blue eject light, blue controller port lights, blue 12 volt fan, and a keychain starter. I know, I know... you dont believe me, but ask anyone thats been to an even with me, I speak the truth! Oh, yeah... pictures later.

you dont just spray paint it all together. you have to take it apart. then use painters tape to tape off anything you dont want to be painted.

ive always wanted to get into moding my boxes but i just never have.

That just about covers it I think. I used to have a few sick normal xboxes, but I sold a few and I only have two really nice ones left. When I worked at Gamestop, I ran an undercover Pimp my Xbox shop, lol. I wouldnt do the chips though, that was too risky, just visuals. I also made one with a spinner for a jewel (mounted a fan in the top of the console, and when you turned the thing on, the jewel would spin as well), and did my famous keychain starter on a lot of them.

The easiest thing you can do (without voiding your warranty) is change the faceplate... That alone, is pretty lame unless you cant see the whole system. All of my colored boxes, I took apart and painted myself. Its time consuming, but nice to be able to say I have a one of a kind 360, you know? Also, I didnt put any pictures of my glow in the dark one up, Ill have to take some. It glows blue, and its pretty neat, when the lights are on, it looks normal.

I agree that that color changing one is amazing. What kind of paint did you use for that? I was thinking of buying a black case from decalgirl.com.. I probably will sometime in the future and use that opportunity to mess around with the stock case.

While I havn't modded my x360 yet, I have spent a lot of time pimping my entertainment room. I'll throw some pics up to share when I get a chance. That color changing paint would go nice with the color theme of my room, so if you could let me know some details on it I'd appreciate it.
