I personally love Pokemon, i've played (in order) Sapphire, FireRed, Diamond, Black and HeartGold, i just started a new file on Diamond and playing through that again ;D

So whats your take on Pokemon? do you like it? do you LOVE it? Hate it? lemme know~! also, if you have played it (obviously >.>) what games have you played?

I love pokemon, I have played (and still own most of them) Red, Silver, Crystal, Sapphire, Ruby, Emerald, Diamond, and White.

I was still 3 years old when Gold and Silver were released i think though i always loved Lugia from the movies :D (Not the god-awful anime though... >.>)

All of them except for the most recent ds gen and newest bw gen. I plan on playing those too eventually but they don't seem as appealing as the 1st gen ones. I remember hooking up my 64 with the controller gb expansion pack to play yellow for hours.

go out to the local game trade in place, and friggin buy red or blue. the BEST of the series, and also the first. I was only missing 1 pokemon from my red version to completely finish my pokedex and fully 100% the game. (i even had mew). I really got back into the pokemon scene when pearl came out, i was involved with an online forum that traded, and fought each other online. I breeded pokemon and was super hardcore into it, its all i played everyday for an entire summer.

But alas i dont have a DS anymore so i have not been able to play the new black or white versions. I was a little disappointed they didnt just wait for the 3DS and make it 3D, that would have been wild

I personally started with Red and Blue and yellow and worked all the way up. Though I havent played a pokemon game back in the early 2000 I recently got a 3DS and is currently playing heartsgold. I personally enjoy the games. They are fun and different. and they have always been a good success even though some people won't admit it ;P

Yep I agree. Its interesting now how they implemented that concept in the new games cause now any pokemon you catch can walk behind you.

It kinda reminds me of Tamagachi Pets XD

played every generation but Gold was my favorite.

the new games, Black and White, are VERY close 2nds. This is because the charm they captured with the first one was reinvented. a completely new set of 150 pokemon meant that you didn't know what any of them did, what they looked like, ect. that is what made the first Gen so good. Balck and White also has a much more mature story around it (themes like innocence, ideals, beliefs, corruption)

I <3 pokemon, after the second generation though, I've completely lost all interest. If they made remakes of Gold/Silver or Red/Blue/Green, I'd lbe more than excited to buy them.

For example, pokemon black and white have 3v3 battles. Would be cool if you could do that in black/yellow or gold/silver

Blue, Red, Yellow, Silver, Gold and White/Black editions are the ones I played. Miss my old Yellow version.
