Alright, I give! How do I try Minecraft?

Ok. Much to Gallow's amusement, my interest in Minecraft has been arroused.

So, how do I try this out?

Go to minecraft.net and select the free trial at the bottom right. It actually crashed my browser though ... I'm using Safari, so that might the problem as well.

Either way, that's free, but outdated, and not much like the full game on offer right now. The way I tried it out was by logging into the account of my boyfriend who had already bought it. Multiple people can use one account provided they play single-player. You can even do it at the same time. So if any of your friends don't mind sharing their login with you, that's prob the best way to try it out.

Why yes, James, I am quite amused by this. I am also fantastically gleeful of the prospect that you're willing to try this after how long? Months of me being the perfect little pestie friend trying to wheedle you into at least giving it a try. (I remember just how many links I've sent you and the chats we had. ;D)

But, yes, Dark's completely right. And jsyk, my offer to use my account for a test drive is still very much still available. Also, if you're wanting to try Multiplayer action, I'll speak with my staff and a friend (who has offered to let me use his account while you use mine) and maybe you can slide onto the public map of our server. If nothing else, I can run a two-man server for us to play around on to give you an idea of the multiplayer functionality of the game.

I'm really pleased, happy even, that you're willing to give the game a chance!
