Who has this, this is basically the only reason I am gonna get a WII beside the Super Smash..... Zelda pwwwwwns, tell me how it is.
It's a lot of fun. Wish they had more interactable side stories like Windwaker though
Edit
I'm glad this game is turning out to be longer than it seems.
Edit 2:
Game is funny yet sad at times. Epic but brief. I would have to rate this one as one of my all time favorites even more so than Ocirana and Legend of Zelda.
I'm getting close to finishing it and will probably replay because I've missed some things (Poe spirits, heart pieces). I'm at Sky now with 15 hearts, anyone else have around that many? I havent done many of the minigames.
Wtf I just beat it and you cant continue the game after?:( Awesome yet sad ending. Would have at LEAST liked to run around and see what was going on after:( Ended up defaulting to my save in the Twilight Palace:( grrrrrrr

I really like it so far, its certainly worth the purchase. However its very much like every other Zelda ever released. That is not necesarilly a bad thing, but it follows a very strict and blaringly obvious template.
Game intro
Wood/Nature dungeon
Earth/Fire dungeon
Water dungeon
you get the point. I still love the game, and I'll repeat its well worth the purchase and justifies the $250 spent on the wii both for people new to the Zelda franchise and veterans all together. I agree with edx that so far its the best Zelda in the history of the franchise. However, I believe it would have easily reached Game of the Year status (thinking from an objective perspective) if they had switched it up a bit and made it a little refreshing with some new franchise material. The twilight realm and beast form are great additions but feel tacked on when held in relation to the overall plot progression and delivery.
Just my honest opinion on the title. Do note that I havn't beaten it (about 15 hours into the game.. so 1/3 of the way through I believe). Take it for what its worth :)

Tell us when you do beat it your impressions so far.
Ok I've beaten it twice now, seeing we're all avid gamers it will probably take you 50-60 hours on average your first attempt.

have you done all of the side stuff when you beating it or just went through it?

Good heavens thats a lot of time for a Zelda game.
I would say I completed 75-90% of the side quests. I got the giant quiver, the 3rd bomb bag, all I'm missing is the giant wallet and like 7 poe spirits.

I'm taking my slow time with the game and completing every side quest...getting every heard piece BEFORE moving onto the next dungeon...its moving a bit slow but its a lot of fun ^^
Point of advice, there will be times when it looks like you can ALMOST get a heart piece but could use just a little "extra". If that's the case, wait a dungeon or two, more than likely you'll get a weapon for it. Also, the statues you see around the world dont waste your time trying to figure them out. You'll need them late in the game.

Getting closer to the end, right now I am trying to obtain my poes, I already obtained the giant wallet and quiver

you need to collect all the bugs in Hyrule to get the 1,000 Ruppee wallet, anyone know how many bugs there are?
but this game is living up to my expectations though very similar to the others it is perfect for the Wii. Im only heading up to Death Mountain (around 8 hours of play or so) because I play on my brothers Wii, but so far it has been fun.(Except for those MONKEYS!) :)

You won't get the Giant wallet for sometime. There are over 24 total bugs around Hyrule. You can identify them by hearing the twinkle they give out and they look gold.

i played a little bit of ocarina of time before i got my wii. the gameplay in twilight princess is pretty much identical. the controls are very similar in both games, the exception being the ability to aim and swing your sword with the wiimote. that can be seen as a good thing though since the gameplay in any zelda game is excellent. it's a lot of fun so far, granted i have a long ways to go yet.
