Good day everybody, i'm Strite.

I am currently leader of a newly fledged clan titled The Next Generation Outlaws.
Our site can be found at www.setbb.com/heartless

We're only a small community but some of us are hardcore gamers, others are just casual.

Anyways, lastnight we went against PMS on Gears of War for the 360 and, suffice to say, got our backsides handed to us, it'll teach us to underestimate girl power.

In the last 24 hours i've lost a further 2 members of my clan :(

Well I thought i'd come along and meet some new peeps and hopefully get some games in and stuff.

Well ciao for now.

P.S I'm from the U.K and am 19 years of age, and a full time student at college, just thought i'd mention that :D

It sucks that you are losing members, but it's cool that you are being a good sport about the loss. Welcome to the forums.

Thanks for the warm welcomes guys :D

Yeah losing a game is the best way to gain experience IMO.
But losing members sucks a fair bit, one of the guys I can totally understand, he's got alot of personal issues and stuff going on right now and thats kool.

But the other guy, well he only had 3 games for the 360 and they were CoD3, GoW and Chromehounds, all 3 of which we play alot.
Well he went and traded in all 3 of em, got a credit note from the store and spent some of that credit on....

Wait for it... Enchanted Arms! I mean i've got Enchanted Arms and its ok 'n all but for him to trade in the 3 games we play most, totally sucks.

Anyways, just to let everyone know the games I play on Live:-

Gears of War
Call of Duty 2
Call of Duty 3
Blazing Angels
Burnout Revenge
Test Drive Unlimited
Rockstars Table Tennis
Chromehounds
EA Sports Fight Night 3
Need for Speed Carbon
Marvel Ultimate Alliance
Splinter Cell Double Agent
Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter

And as I live in the U.K we don't get Vegas until next friday but i'll be picking up a copy on my way back from college.

Welcome to the forum Strite. Sorry to hear about you losing clan members, clans tend to have a high turnover of players so I'm sure you'll pick up more soon.

I am also from the UK and currently run the UK/European side of things in H2O. Looking forward to playing RB6: Vegas as well and I've hammered GRAW to death in clan matches and such.

I do want to ask where you get the name 'Strite' from? Are you from Sunderland by any chance because thats a common word in that part of town.

Actually I made Strite up for the name of a fictional character of mine in English Literature at college 2 years back, and the name kinda stuck with me on forums etc ever since.
So it was the most obvious choice for an XBL GT.

But I didn't know it was a common word in Sunderland, guess I kinda 'borrowed' it then :D do you know what it means there?

It would be said by a mackem (someone from sunderland) when he/she was happy about something. It can used as a positive response or asking if someone was serious. A bit like "why aye" is to geordies (someone from newcastle).

I have a few friends from sunderland and the uni there. A little bit of local dialect.

Ah, ok, kool... well i'm not from Sunderland nor have I ever met anyone from there, so as far as that goes its still my word, I though of it all on my own with no inspiration, my precious :p
