Usually for thanksgiving, we have tons of people come over.. Usually my dads coworkers (those with and without families), and my friends.. A big party ensues and usually theres no turkey left by the end of the night.. Today, nobodys coming over :(.
But, there will be leftover turkey for a couple days.. Turkey Sandwiches are good.

It's kind of a celebration of survival for the pilgrams back in the day.
Now its just a day in which we get together we family and really think about all we have to be thankful for. Maybe its just an excuse to eat a lot of food and watch football...

Pilgrams pretty much they didn't want to be persecuted by the Church of England so they set off to America. They sought common ground with the Native Americans because the Pilgrams didn't know how to live in the new land. About after the end of the Harvest They gave thanks primarly to God about one being alive, finding new friends, ect. ect. I look at Thanksgiving a day where I can look back see how my life was and is now and be thankful of it, as well as seeing how others are thankful for.

Pssh. I work 7PM to 7AM. Which means I had to sleep during Thanksgiving. But it's cool, because I'm having dinner at my parents house on Sunday. :D
