Words of hatred fill her mind
An invisible hand strikes her cheek
Her whole body fills with rage
She refuses to remain "the meek"

What of the days of innocence?
Do they even continue to exist?
For now she stands ready to fight
Should the things that hurt her dare to persist

Alone she stands determined
Pushing away those who try to help
Yet in her mind it is clear
To go on alone in pain she'll yelp

Moving on isn't easy to do
But she must learn to trust what she hates
Remembering what she knows of this world
Open up her soul and unlock the gates

2 thumbs up!!:D It's good to stand up for what you believe but sometimes you aren't even sure of what you believe. Another interpitation I got from that way that she wants to just be alone but what she really needs is her friends and family by her side.

No problem...it's true though, I'm like the only one giving feedback. I'll stop for a little while and hopefully other people decide to comment.
