For folks around the Louisville area (or anywhere else within driving distance) we are about to announce the 2007 season of Lanwar lan parties.
Lanwar, if you remember, is the group of us contracted by WSVG to run the BYOC's at the WSVG events that had one. I cant comment on if we will be involved in next year, or if another WSVG will take place in conjunction with us at our home city of Louisville, but regardless we will continue our own tradition of 4 or more events per year. Kicking off the 2007 season will be an event in January, soon to be announced online at www.lanwar.com
I dont have the exact dates yet, but when set they will be posted on the site with registration and everything else. So if you loved the BYOC in louisville, i really reccomend you come back in january and have fun with us. The are a lot more social and "down home" than WSVG's byoc were, and are held down the street at University of Louisville. Seats are limited for these events at roughly 550 seats, give or take, and registration runs 35 dollars. The event will run from a saturday morning at 11am untill sunday evening at 4pm.
Hope to see some of you all there!!
