Thats right ladies and gents, since June 13th we've managed over 100,000 posts on these forums. Just for reference thats over 500 posts every single day (on average). From a member base that is now exactly 1900 strong there are some fairly impressive numbers in there. Just thought you might want to know. (This brings the grand total including the old forums to nearly 500,000), and its a fairly large database to back up. :p

Sorry snake, daily posts have not changed at all due to arcade implementation, they've leveled off since the hype of them coming back online in june. Also the DB isn't the huge thing, its the FTP and bandwidth you've sent whack! :p
And feday if you would send me gears invites I wouldn't look up this stuff, eh punk??? ;)

Well there's actually 2 winners, one person who has post #100,000 and the person who actually has the 100,000th live post. Cause remember we delete posts and stuff so the number goes down sometimes too. But it'd be hard as hell to find whoever has the real 100,000th live post, and it may change. So I say stick with demongurl for the title :)

Actually i just browsed to the 100,000 record in the posts db and guess who i came up with...

now i cant post the post b/c its a private post. So yeah...but she is the 100,000th record.

A soft delete will keep it in the database, but a hard delete should drop the stuff from the table , and i'm not sure how the numbering works.....but anyway.

You are correct about that. That would make firewife the 100,000th poster for posts that still exist on the forums :P...
btw with that command im accessing a point in the db. Its not really numbered. Basically whats happens is im looking at the first row in the db and then skipping down 100,000 records.
