Well I am Catalyst the PC Admin of Extreme LAN. I have become LAN buddies with PMS Archeai and thought PMS forums would be a great way to promote ourselves to the woman of gaming since we have yet to have a good showing. I know there are tons of woman who play and I know like Archeai did can whoop up on a lot of the guys! But check out the Link PMS Archeai put up we had our December LAN and are gearing up for January 6,2007. www.extremelankc.com we hold these tournaments monthly with 100+ attendees! We are gonna be holding our annual Summers end event which will be 300+ but until then we will still be every month!! Thanks for the interest and to the PMS ladys!

Nope california for the lose. They did one in irvine for my game in october when i didnt know people, then they were gonna do one in san diego next month for my game and they canceled it, seriously people would rather do the drugs then do the drugs AND play video games, Its disgusting more population then any other state and we cant get one lan tourny going, yet these girls seem to be going to a slew of them in the mid coast. Makes me wanna cry. Imma find out how and host one f this.

Hey man starting these tournaments is a lot harder then anyone thinks. Anyone can LAN in their basements. But when you actually start trying to get big numbers, that is a lot of hard work. I know we have been going for almost three years now and we are in the past six months starting to grow big. But it's all a series of one lucky break after another. If you wanna get a LAN started my first suggestion would be find someone to let you use theeir place for free. But, the most important rule in doing these is never think you are above anyone. I have seen a bunch of LAN groups fall cause they thought they were bigger than gaming. Hope you guys can get one though it is a blast. We have been tossing around the idea of sometime this year or next taking our show on the road a couple times a year. Maybe we would head out there.

So i did like an extensive 2 hours search for lans in cali and the results were so OMG cry face it was bad ONE. one tourny that happened YESTERDAY..... Oh well I know its a lot of work I think my friend can help me start this up. I know i made it seem like a joke but im kinda serious Imma see what CPL is like (my very first lan tourny). If I can take enough away with me I may be able to do it. I have the right skills to run stuff like this, I think. perhaps we can sit down and talk and you can allow me to pick your brain, to see what it takes to run something like this. Also if you do come out here id love to volunteer my services.

yeah man no problem xfire is catalystelkc That does suck about you guys not having any LANs out there. I feel kinda proud about ours now! We hold ours every month now with our big one in September this year we are gonna try and make it 300+. So its gonna be an interesting year. Just gotta lockdown some big sponsors for that. Not that we dont have some already. We usually have two or three raffles a night at our events so it takes alot from our great sponsors.
