Would you trade your PS3 for Xbox?

With all the issues and rumors have you thought about making the switch?


One rumor going around is that Gamestop will no longer take PS3 trade-ins, I just called my local store and as of right now they still are but a 250 slim will only get you $100.

If problems continue, even with as much as I LOVE my PS3, I don't think I could stick with it. Esp. if my personal info is not safe. :(

I finally bought a 360 today after several months of saying I would xD. I love my PS3 and will always be a PS3er at heart but I hope Sony can come through and get things fixed with all this stuff that's been going down recently =/.

Personally, This my be bad look for Ps3. I think they will do their best not let this happen again...I just found out today that this happen to Xbox before so I may not need Xbox. It can happen to anyone.

I use my ps3 mainly for a media server, playing movies and etc on my TV in my room. but then again my 360 is hardly ever used for anything except the gears 3 beta recently. ive thought about selling my ps3, just because i dont have a use for it, but its a special edition version that only i believe 4-6 were made so i usually change my mind xD

Haha, I am PS3 all the way - a total Sony fanboi even, lol - I was just curious. I don't really want to think worst case scenario & I hope Sony can fix this and build that trust again.

I first bought xbox and I actually bought 2 xboxs and 1 ps3 in a span one day. The reason being xbox froze on me multiple times so I traded in the xbox for a ps3. As to this day I usually refer to xbox as failbox. I still like xbox though cause of the exclusive games for xbox. And a lot of my real life friends use an xbox. They still can't beat me CoD though when I pickup a failbox controller :P

1 eye toy
3 mics ( for like rockband or something)
3 bluetooths
1 guitar
1 drum
2 playstion move guns( one being the sharpshooter)
1 pair of trittons
25 games
1 4 controller charger

And I think thats all. For my xbox I only have 2 games 1 controller and 2 rechargeable batteries and the charging dock

Edit: and I just bought DJ Hero 2 and getting a second turntable today lol

I have both a PS3 and an Xbox, but I am pretty unhappy with the way Sony handled telling people that their information was compromised. I haven't even used PSN before but my credit card was on file because we bought a couple of Final Fantasy games. Very frustrating. I hope Sony offers a lot of freebies and other services to try and make up for the mess.

I won't sell my PS3 though, because it is still the best value Blu-Ray player on the market. My husband sells computers and games for a living, and even with the PSN crisis he will still push the PS3 as the best thing to buy if you want Blu-Ray. That's all we use it for, but having a few exclusive games makes it worth it too. Heavy Rain is probably the best game I played in 2010 and I'm holding out for a Kingdom Hearts 3 among other things.

I just know I'll never buy anything with a credit card on PSN again... I'll get a points card or something haha.

I'm an Xbox fangirl all the way though... something about the the layout of the PS3 dashboard is much more annoying than the xbox one. Xbox is so bright and colorful and appeals to me more haha.

PMS Origins, I have an extra xbox in my closet (the fruits of marriage), and if you want to pick up a 360 I'd sell it to you for cheap. It only has a 20GB HD but if you don't play games with outrageous amounts of DLC like I do that should be more than enough. The only thing is that it would need a controller, because both are occupied by my current box. Haha.

Staying true to my PS3. But that's because I've been gaming since PS1/X. And pretty much because I'm such a Metal Gear Solid and Kingdom Hearts fan, both of which are PlayStation exclusives.

Regarding the whole hacking drama, I couldn't be arsed about. Always bought myself those PSN Cards.
