He didn't use his own money (not that it makes it any less stupid), he took donations over the internet. He's also done it with all the systems on launch. I think someone cried when he smashed the 360... which really in the end makes it all worth it. ;)

These guys needs to grow some balls, their "Smash my iPod", "Smash My Xbox 360" and now this "Smash My PS3" video all suck.
They don't really get a reaction from the crowd, so it's pretty much useless. Anyone who donated cash for this should be going after these morons with a crossbow.

it is kind of cruel, and believe me, i would beat the **** out of these guys, but laying back being pissed i didn't get one, makes it all feel better :)
The only thing i found funny about any of these movies, was the one in the 360 where there was a kid who's eyes were literally popped out of his head and his jaw was on the ground while he saw them smash ti
Other than that, its a pretty low-thought stunt, I had so many people in school saying theyre were gonna do that or drive by with the box filled with junk and pretend to drop it...which is even stupider

omg, everyone, i'm a genius, i got her to type like a normal person! :O heh
and like herb has said, just said, and will probably say again, he didn't pay for it, people like us, i say us because we are on an internet forum, paid for in small amounts that ps3, they donated to his cause of doing that, so obviously, not everyone is like you and thinks it's stupid ;)
And he doesn't live in the US. :)
