Some ps3 facts you might not know

1-battery can't be removed nearly as easily as 360
2-no sync button in order to sync the controller/system you must use a usb cable
3-the cable's also how you charge the pad rechargable battery's hard to remove so
you won't see a quick charge kit until sony does their pad right.
4-After payn $600+ for a system they don't even have component in the box let alone hdmi
cable.

Ps-3 has some rough spots and sony's made some awfully stupid decisions(cough....no
cough...removable-with ease...rechargable battery) they want people to pay $49.99
whenever their sixaxis battery dies...don't be foolish because somewhere within the
manual it tells how to remove the battery for disposial wich means you can plug a new battery in.....not give sony $50 more bucks.

To me the worst thing about ps-3 on ebay is that arogant sony will feel more than justifyed charging ,at least,$600 if not more when ps-4 arrives which means microsoft will follow suit with xbox next @ more than $500-had people said heck no we won't pay sony would've lowered the price quickly but now who knows when it'll drop.

CONGRADS we've just screwed ourselves in the next,next gen race...even nintendo might be over $350 and that'd be the cheapeast system out.

We'll have to see when 2012 or 2013 rolls around.

well, sure the batteries are not easy to remove, but it comes with a USB plug and play charger, unlike 360. so these "problems" aren't really that much of a problem.

Resistance: Fall of Man looked like a mix of Half Life 2 + Gears of War with ****ty character models. They also had a Dynasty Warriors type game and like Ridge Racer 7. Anyone get one and play these?

I've heard that Resistance is the main game to get so far. But I don't know much else. Most games are falling short of expectations, especially when compared to other platforms.

microsoft had small amounts on launch as well, don't forget that.

i personally don't know if it's good, but Resistance:FoM is probably the shooter to have this christmas, it's more a mix of CoD3 + Rachet and Clank with amazing characters and sweet looking monsters.

i hope those who got 'em were safe out there, i still hate myself for not getting one :(

From the Japanese Launch, Ridge Racer 7 and Mobile Suit Gundam: Target in Sight were the highest sellers. Wonder if they did the same similar to here.

I feel sorry for all the real gamers out there who want one to actually play it and not try to sell it at an outlandish price.

That was sad sad thing to walk up to 5 different PS3 lines and talk to the ppl waiting. In every line only 1 or 2 people were actually keeping there's to play. LoL, they weren't even playing games while they waited. When I waited for the 360 with fellow gamers, we had everything, DS, PSP, game magazines, were were exchanging GT(Gamertags) and FC(Friend Codes), it was a really great experience. Not to say it didn't have it's problems or situations, but not to the extent I've seen with the PS3. LoL, there was no knitting in a line of gamers.* Hehe I actually saw people knit on those inflatable beds waiting for the PS3 *sighs. A sad sad launch indeed.

I even tried talking to one guy in the front of a line at Wal-mart about games as I surveyed the line and tried to share what was going on at other stores and he completely blew me off. Soooo not a gamer. Yet, he is a prink.

I feel the same. It's a shame all of these people that just want them to sell are getting them over people that actually want to own them. Why on earth would you pay that much for a system? I love my 360 and was really glad to get one on launch day, but these prices on eBay are ridiculous.

I don't know if the lines here were the same, as I was asleep when the system came out today, but it didn't seem to be that way here for the 360. While the whole launch night experience was pretty bad (the store I got it at couldn't have handled it any worse than they did), I did hang out with a group of fellow gamers for a while there and that part of it was cool. Even in the midst of all of the mess, I could hear other people talking about games.

Inherently because of xbox live it seems that xbox fans are more of a united community, they game more with each other because of the online structure. PS2 had a lot of amazing offline titles and so there isn't the same communal feeling surrounding PS3.

Oh I have no doubt if sony manages to dramatically improve their online capabilities by the time we see PS4 out it could be a totally difference experience, in fact I hope it is because the social aspect of gaming has proven to be a very unique phenomenon that can and will bring big money for companies.
