You can never go wrong with the for dummies books! Taught me more than my uni reading list did.
Since you mentioned C++, have you read Bjarn Strousup's The C++ Programming Language? An excelllent must-read written by the languages creator.

Naw never heard of it. All of my computer engineering classes are taught in C++ so im learning through those books atm. I am wanting to get into the more advanced stuff i might have to check it out. I do have a generic algorithm book that my Advanced Data Structures prof basically called a bible :p

Use your college's library. You'll be surprised at the kind of stuff they have. My college has php, css, c++, java, javascript, jquery...you name it they have it. They also have some cool graphic design and packaging design books. You might not find what you're looking for, but you'll find something that will help you with what you're doing in some shape or form. Use it while you got it!

I've personally used Tizag quite a while back, but it helped me more-or-less with the functions and such.

The PHP is the open source software that can be used in many of the projects nowadays.
The HTML is the web page designing language.
