Is it against the rules to buy a 14th prestige Black ops account (Legit), rename your old account, and then rename the new account and then use this regularly?

I'm pretty sure it isn't but is it the right thing to do?

Selling accounts is against the Xbox Live Code of Conduct

It not only goes against the xbox live code of conduct but the clans as well. I would not recommend that any recruits or members do this.

why would you want to buy it ? its not only cheating but you're taking the fun out of the game and not really proving your skill. heck i enjoy playing cod at lvl 20

I honestly do not care at all about proving "skill". I do not need to prove my skill to anyone. "Fun"? I do not derive any fun from prestiging and reunlocking stuff. I've done too much of that since 2007. All I want is the extra classes. That has been my only reason for prestiging since I can remember and frankly I am tired of it.
I actually don't enjoy playing at low levels because you get PWNT by a FAMAS, no Ninja (I play Search almost exclusively), and definitely no good weapons.
I guess I won't prestige then.

Honestly it isn't worth it, and if you think it is, have you thought about what you need to put in to get "said account", with H2O slapped on it?
Let's see.
1: You pay the seller money, msp, salt, whatever.
Possibility of getting screwed over, & since it's illegal you can't do anything about it.
2: You get said account and want to get the H2O prefix on it.
Realistically that's 800MSP to change your original GT to something so your new account has availability to change the GT, then another 800MSP to change the new account to H2O.
3: Person who sold you account is a nimrod and misses his account and files complaints and emails to Xbox Live saying he sold his account to You/an H2O.
Which kinda makes the clan look shady.
I dunno man, doesn't sound ethical imo!
It's okay to have thoughts, we want to do crazy stupid things all the time, but this isn't worth your money or time.
Back on Final Fantasy XI, I was extremely addicted. The game was good at the time, so my friend and I bought accounts to help get our wallet's in-game raised up. It isn't cheating because we put our own money into friend's accounts they've sold to us, but it IS technically illegal. I may sound like a hypocrite, but it really isn't worth it.

Yeah. A legit 14th prestige usually starts around 40$ but sells around 80-120$. Expensive stuff.
1. I've got some good sources I've had friends buy from.
2. Meh. I have two 4000 MSP point cards and around 2800 MSP (I think) in my account already (I buy a lot of DLC, movies, music, etc). MSP are not an issue.
3. Read 1
I'm not going to debate it. I'm not doing it. I've decided to spend my money on the TB PX5's that are coming out.
