clarinet, bass clarinet, guitar, bass guitar, drums, piano, and a bit of saxophone and flute o.o

clarinet/bass clarinet is the instrument I've been playing the longest (almost 8 years now), next are guitar & bass (taken lessons for the past four years, but have been playing since I was a little kid..my dad would teach me songs and stuff when I was younger..)

the rest I have been teaching myself within the past two/three years

dude, i saw on the rick mercer report that this dude had a drum set made of solid GOLD he said he was the best drumer in the world and DAM, i belive that now. not sure what his name was though.

i just started learning the piano about 1& a half years ago and im already almost done with the royal conservative level 7. i play mostly classical romantic and my favorite, DRAMATIC:king: runs in the family, my dads a composer, and one of the best from europe.
my mother is a singer and plays many instraments. some which include are "The Flute, Ziter aka table harp, accordion, piano, harp, guitar, etc. i guess thats where i got the part of me were i want to learn more then just one instrument:D

i was also wondering, here in the town i live they always say they play the Fiddle instede of saying the violin? is there a differance between a violin and a fiddle???

hey creed. listen to "This Calling" by All That Remains..youll hear some beats on the drums that are insane....insanly fast, just listen..he only uses a double kicker...and it sounds like nothing....and just...wow :P
but there are better then him, just.i think its a really good, and fast beat to keep, and he makes it look easy.

Does anyone have an SG?. I'm thinking of getting one. I've played one for a bit and it felt pretty good, but are there any owners that have an opinion about it? I'm also looking at Tom Anderson Guitars, some ESP's, Fenders, other Gibson's and maybe Ibanez.

Apoth3osis

I play the Guitar and the Drums. I played piano for about 9 years, but then stopped to take up guitar.

I almost got an SG but went with the Les Paul instead. The SG has a longer fretboard and is much lighter (than the LP), but to me (and this is totally my opinion) the LP sounds much better. I would say get what feels best to you. I prolly played 20-30 different guitars before settlin' on the Paul.

BTW... if your gonna get a "nice" guitar, make sure you gotta good amp to play it through, or else your not gonna get the full effect.

Electric guitar only took me about 4-5 months to learn and to get the basic part about playing. After then i couldn't stop playing and i still play everyday. Its fun and worth the time to learn. It really is. When im in pregame lobby on H2 that is usually what i do;)

that just makes me want an electric that much more. ;)

ya know, thats whats good about the guitar, its very portable, unlike my big azz Grand piano down stairs:cussing:

But What i really want to learn...is the Cello, and Violin, and of course when i have the time i'll also learn the accordion for my mother. but a Cello and Violin.....are DAM expensive$$$$$$
that just sent me right down to the dumps when i saw the price for a good one.....:eusa_boohoo::eusa_boohoo::eusa_boohoo: i'll have to wait untill i grad from med school do my internship and paid off my loan, and then i maybe will have time to learn them..
....."Time, we may think we have it, but in the end, time is the one who passed us by...."
-Michael H

oh and word of advice, if ya want to learn an instrument, do it while your young, when your my age off to collage and working on a career you don't have much time for things like gaming or learning new things like instruments, well gaming ok all ya gotta do is flick on the boom box, but learning stuff ya gotta get a teacher for that, hehe.

And no one try stealing my poem above! i had that happen to me before but i already wrote it down this time and several have already seen it.....just so you know:)
