Today is Halo's 5 year anniversary, so Bungie was to release some big info today. Here it is:

All great news except for the whole needing the 360 for new maps thing. While a lot of people will be fine, it doesn't make much sense.

Thats a overestimate on how many people who play halo2 actually have a 360, this hurts my feelings, but it is not bungie's fault. Once again, Microsoft is making another notch in people's why we hate microsoft book.

cant w8 man lol i love the fact they making the new maps for halo 2 on 360 now maybe all the people who didnt buy one because halo 3 wasnt out will lol.

Ill definitly be in the beta!

On my note I hope Halo 3 = Halo 1 gameplay then ill be hooked lol.

Yeah, mostly because of the controller for me. I use the 360 mostly though because I need to use it for the 360 games and I don't feel like changing around systems. I actually sanded my controller to make it more comfortable.

I will play that Beta, it would be great to see gameplay closer to Halo1 yet using what was good about Halo2 and improving both.

Beta registration begins on December 4. Not everyone who applies will be guaranteed a spot. :(

Also, a 60-second ad for the game will air sometime between 5:50 p.m. and 6:20 p.m. PST during the Monday Night Football matchup between the Philadelphia Eagles and Carolina Panthers on December 4.

im excited for that trailer. and hopefully to have the beta you wont have to be 18...but you probably will have to be :(
as far as h2 maps go, psh w/e, i have better things to play, their just tryin to keep a dieing game alive :p :D
