So I decided to play NFS: Hot pursuit yesterday online for the first time. My internet is really slow at the moment, so I was lucky to find a game. Unfortunatly, it was just me and the same guy over and over again (hot pursuit lobby).

So we played a few matches. But I wrecked him in spectacular ways!! The guy was shouting down the mic "What?!?" in disbelief every time due to my skill in dodging/launching EMP's and Spike Strips :p It was hilarious, I couldn't stop laughing at his disbelief xD Just another reason why I need a cap card

I have been dying to get that game. Not a big NFS fan, but I have played almost every single game in the series, and from what I've seen of Hot Pursuit, it reminds me of Burnout so I really want to get it...$47.99 used at Gamestop!

Hot Pursuit shinanigans

I actually think that would be a great title for their next game.

Good to hear the game is pretty decent though. Might be worth a look.

It's definatly worth buying. Get it brand new though, else you have to spend 800msp on the online activation code (which may have already been used in preowned games).

I honestly think this game is fantastic. Will get repetitive after a while, but still fun to play against people =]

$47.99 used is R-Tarded.

I haaaaaaaaaaaaate Gamestop for that. You may as well get it new from somewhere else because GS has a pure black tendency to sell new games open from their fresh plastic seals with an sometimes irremovable price sticker slapped on the case. [Catches Breath]

[Continues] I mean really, come on. You can't disagree with that. If you pay the full retail price of a game, it takes away the genuineness of opening the game yourself. That's just my opinion! xD

You want to point the finger at EA, not GS. It's EA's way of making sure that they get some more money out of the people that have a tendency to buy used games. It's completely possible to buy a used copy of this game from Gamestop and have the online code not activated. It really all depends on the person that previously owned the copy and if they registered the code so that they can play online.

Aside from that, the game is definitely worth picking up. The campaign is a lot of fun, I love being able to play both Outlaw and law enforcement! The online match making is probably the weakest link for this game. If I'm not mistaken (and I may be) it will only match you up with one other player, this happened every time I tried match making. Don't get me wrong, if you have other friends that own this game and you play in a large group, it's competitive and ridiculously fun.
