Hello all,
I'm pretty sure some of you (Those whom have read my Intro) somewhat know of this already, but to the rest, What I was wondering is this:
Is it possible to join a Division even if you don't meet the reqs for it?
IE: Let's say someone wanted to join one of the CSS Divisions (For example, the South America Division), but was stationed elsewhere in the world, like Europe or NA, or say someone from H20 wanted to join a PMS Division or vice-versa..
would that be allowed?
Another question/suggestion is if we (In this case, you guys since I have yet to join a Division/be apart of the clan) could get more....eh, can't think of any other word, Divisions for H20 and/or NA accessible.
If you don't get what I'm saying above, don't hesitate to message me.

Let's see if I can answer your questions...
To start...if you're in EU and you want to join a NA division because there isn't a EU equivalent, with very few exceptions, you can do so. As long as you can make the hours required. If there is an EU equivalent of the game you wish to join, I'd make the recommendation to join the EU side simply for the time difference. (Not playing favorites, just looking at time.)
H2O Vigilant is a good example of the EU to NA bridge. He is an EU player, but he is a successful division leader of an NA division. You might get with him and ask him how he does what he does.
As far as PMS joining H2O divisions and vice versa...unless the division is specifically co-ed, it's not allowed. PMS is all female gamers and H2O is all male gamers. So if you wanted to recruit for Gears of War, you wouldn't be able to app for the PMS side of Gears. We do have a co-ed practices, but we're basically two separate divisions. We do have quite a few co-ed division though - Xbox has CoD4, R6V2, L4D2. Almost all the PC games we have are co-ed. (This is not an all inclusive list, check with the division you're interested to be absolutely certain.)
And last, if there isn't a division for the game you want to play, you can always Suggest a Division. Here's a link to the thread with info on it - http://www.pmsclan.com/forum/showthread.php?t=41178 If you'll read that thread, it'll give you some overview on how divisions are created and you can find the list of games we've tried (either successfully or not) to create divisions for.

So wait..with the last mentioned link on there (About how to setup a division) would that entitle me as that divisions' leader? Cause I was actually looking to just being a member of one for the time being. And a little info: I'm from NA, but was just stating some examples on the first post..Know what I mean? :mvconfused:

Well, I was just using EU to NA because it's the scenario I've seen (and had to handle) the most.
And no, simply for posting the application does not entitle you to be a division leader, with very few (and rare) exceptions. Generally, X member goes and finds the interested and recommendations to get a division rolling. If that division shows enough interest, it goes into a 1-month trial period. During that month, the Platform Generals are considered the Division Leaders. If the newly created division successfully passes the 1-month trial, the Generals will post the job openings for the staff. Who is selected as staff depends on many things and the person selected may be not be the same person who submitted the divisions application.

Ah k. And @ the first part, wasn't getting after you or anything, was just expressing something to be sure you weren't confused. ;)
