Last night my connection was pretty laggy. Today when I turned the xbox on it wouldn't connect to XBL. So i tested my connection it couldn't connect to my connect. So I turned the xbox off and back on. Nothing. I disconnected the connection because it said connection didnt exist. When i went to re connect it says connection wrong wep. Went and got the wep, and i put it in and it still wont connect. Any ideas whats wrong?

Unplug your router/modem and then plug it back in... works for me

If The router reset idea doesn't work you might just need to buy a new one all together, that was the case with me..

Also, if you don't feel like buying a new router, you can try to hard wire the Xbox to your laptop; meaning your laptop has to be on while you play and near your Xbox.

More than likely the issue was that someone went in and changed the wep..if you left your router unplugged for a while then plugged it back in that reset it. which is probably what resolved the issue. The issue with it being laggy is probably due to low bandwidth, contact your isp they may have some steps to improve your bandwidth

Could also be that your Internet is Awful... I used to have really bad DSL 5.0MBPS, I was like... f that and Upgraded to Cable rocking 15MBPS now and havint had issues ever since (: Comcast is amazing... I HIGHLY RECCOMEND!!! Im only paying about 55$ a month

Hey, I wouldn't say to just run out and buy a new router just yet!
I suggest calling the router company. I've had this problem before and it's a real easy fix. I have a Belkin and once in a blue moon, it won't let me connect because of these same problems you seem to be having. So from experience, call your router company first and see what they suggest. You can find the number on google. ^_^
