Yes I know this is a TOTALLY self-centered topic, but I've been noticing everyone and their mother mispronouncing (and mispelling) not only my real name but my alias. So, just so you all know and I don't have to feel like an *** and correct anyone (please feel free to remind me in this topic that I'm really not that important, rofl).:)
It's KAsUmi...NOT kusami
Therefore it's pronounced Kah-sue-mee NOT koo-sam-ee
And my name, Marjorie, is pronounced Marge-er-ree
Anyway, love you all, sorry to create such a retarded topic, just wanted to end the confusion.

In a more detailed response, I know what you mean. People call me ed-x all the time when it's just e-d-x. I'm pretty sure I've told Pea chi at LEAST 10 times but who knows. So far to date Regimekilla has had his name butchered more than anyone I've played with.
Just a couple off the top of my head include:

People call me "No Carrot", when its "Knock-uh-rot".. also gets on my nerves sometimes, but I'm used to it, and even play with it sometimes.
Also: A Gyro (the pita food) is pronounced "Jeer-oh". This is an inside ventrilo joke.. just ignore it if you dont understand :P.

Lol, we have Gyro's at the diner I work at, I wanna smack people who say Guy-ro...although I mean c'mon, that is it's phonetic pronunciation. But anyway yeah, thank you all for correcting your names too, now I don't feel like such a tard.

thats the greek (correct :P) way of pronouncing it though. :(
...though I'm the only greek person I know around me who pronounces it that way. people look at me like I'm nuts when I'm like "but..thats...how..it..is actually pronounced.."
haha. No one usually says my name wrong, but they always spell it wrong. They spell it b-r-i-t-n-e-y, and I'm like "there's only one correct way to spell it, and it's b-r-i-t-t-a-n-y". It's so frustrating. That's why I tell people just to call me britt, because they always put the two T's on there.

I think my gamer tag is easier as well, same as my forum name.
I have problems with my MMO character's name though, it's Sakakii and people type it wrong all the time. It's pronounced SA-Kak-E as in tea. It's a hard E.
lol. I think if I ever played with you I'd call you MC for short, cause you gotta admit, menstrual is a difficult word to say sometimes.

Yeah, I usually sorten it to Cramps to make it easier. I answer to so many things anyway. Katie, MC, Menstrual, Cramps, and anything bizarre anyone can come with that oddly matches.
lol. There are a lot of bizarre things that I can think of. I've had a lot of people come up with bizarre ways to say my name. Two of my favorites though are diaper and herpes. I'm all like "can you read? wtf". It's so hilarious because if I don't say anything about it, they continue to call me that and then at the end of the game when I talk to them they flip out on me and go "why would a girl have a name like that?" So I'm just like "I don't, you just don't know how to read." lol.

I have been called, in no particular order:
Ravan.
Revan.
Raaeevan.

Reeaavan.
Not to mention anytime I play anything I get somebody going "You spelled your name wrong." Usually after I just shot them in the forehead.
Even had one guy get convinced that I lettered it Raevn because the ae stands for "American Eagle"(it doesn't.)
