Black Ops: My Review/Qualms

Hey, guys. I thought I'd share with you my review and my qualms with Black Ops and see if anyone else shares my opinions about what's gimping the multiplayer experience right now.

But, my essential qualms are that spawn points in multiplayer are extremely unreliable, the recoil of many guns cripples your ability to fight and the common DC's have rendered the game virtually unplayable.

well, with you're initial qualms to me you're the only one, the spawns seem pretty straight forward with all maps. What recoil? And i've never DC'd in the middle of a match, and if the host DC's it just resets it to a new host.

None of those issues are the ones i've had with the game lol

PC players are having it worse. Epic bugs are epic.

I'd like to argue however, that I preferred MW2 claymores. It took a bit off skill and luck to plant them correctly (though I pretty much never used them). I prefer a 1 second delay than rather, immediate death when turning a corner.

Gunships and the chopper gunner are mildly overpowered, but at least they're not as easy to get as in MW2 (cg through harriers and/or pred).

And I have to object on the design in general. Sound system is glitched to the point that 7.1 surround sound just doesn't work. You got people running around without ninja and I still can't pick them up. Directional is pretty much no-go. And I just can't stand the "poof" sounds that pretty much describe all the explosives.
Also, the maps are way too cluttered compared to the previous cods, very distracting, and bad design. I can't see most of the maps being played competitively.

Optimization, for PC, is just bad. You have people running the game with bad lag, frequent stuttering, at minimum graphics - with their $1000+ rigs.

man you guys are tripping. this game is by far the funnest CoD i have played. Gun Game alone is the coolest gametype i have played. makes me wish Reach also had something like that so its not DMR's the whole time.

the only thing i would change (and it really doesnt have to do with the gameplay) is the ability to save your films without having to upload them to your fileshare. i mean its Black Ops! some stuff isnt meant to be shared so others can rip off. but other than that, im going to be playing this more than MW2 (not a diss, just having more fun here)

Gun Game is a complete rip off from Counter Strike. They didn't even bother to rename it.

lol fine by me. dont care who had it first its fun. (though now i want to try the Counter Strike version)
